The Met Blinds

Measure shades and blinds for windows by first gathering your tools:

• Measuring tape
• Pencil and notepad
• Stepladder

Then, decide whether to mount the blinds or shades inside the window frame or outside the frame. To measure inside, measure the width at the top inside part of the frame, the middle, and then the bottom part. Record the narrowest measurement.
